Paddle boarding /watersports
Along the Mar Menor ( a salt lake lagoon with 70km's of coastline and a depth of no more than 7Mtrs) has lots of towns along its coast from La Manga, Los Alcazares, La Pogan ( Our Favourite beach) with long promenade's and several water sports centres catering for everyone. Paddle Boards, Canoeing, Windsurfing, Diving etc you wont get board!
Go-Carting
There are a few in the area, our favourite is Go-Karting Mar Menor! Just by the Spanish Airforce base in San Javier. ( You might get lucky and see the Spanish Airforce display team in the background hard at practice too !)
Walking, Hiking, Cycling
The resort is on the edge of a National Park, Hills, Mountains, and open countryside are crossed with paths ideal for Hiking or Mountain Biking ! With good weather most of the year, its never a bad time to surround yourself in nature. We like to Hike to a restaurant, or Hire a bike in San Pedro del pinitar and see the flamingos on the pink and blue salt lakes, or walk up to Venta del la virgin restaurant in Banos y Mendigo for a spot of Lunch !
